The Family Medicine Residency  program at SJGH  is a community based UCDavis affiliated program. The  program is one of the oldest programs in the country with an 8-8-8 residency complement.

The program is seeking a Board certified Family Medicine physician with  current competency in inpatient adult medicine,  outpatient broad Family Medicne and  outpatient common procedures. No OB requirement. The sponsoring hospital hires as fulltime  employee model with traditional benefits  The poosition comes with excellent package,  plus a $20,000 sign on bonus, moving allowance, and monthly quality m/productivity incentives. Requirements

5 days work week Monday-FridayweekJob requires in person presence  in the clinical patient care  areas and administrative office space.

Job requires direct supervision of residents in the Family Medicine clinic, inpatient wards, street medicine sites and  school health sites . Occasional weekend  in person clinical rounds with resident physicians.Night home  call  for i patient shared with 5-6 other faculty physicians(additional incentive). Faculty should be comfortable in doing common outpatient procedures directly and also supervising resident physicians. California Licence and Board certification required
