Description

UCI Division of Hospital Medicine & Palliative Medicine is a growing 30+ member faculty of Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Infectious Disease, Palliative Care and Family Practice physicians.  We are seeking a full-time Academic Hospitalist-Nocturnist (ICU Nocturnist preferred but not required).  This position is a full-time academic appointment in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series non-tenure to practice at any of the UC Irvine Medical Center sites through the School of Medicine.

Requirements

Requirements: Qualifications include board certified or board eligible with the American Board within Internal Medicine.  In addition, strong background and skills in clinical practice, clinical teaching, managed care, leadership and utilization are essential.  Clinical teaching is required.  Applicant must qualify for UC Irvine Medical Center medical staff privileges. Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications.
